Tamworth Growers Market

The Tamworth Growers Market are held every Saturday Morning from 8 am to 12:30 pm on Kable Avenue near Hopscotch Restaruant and Bar - opposite Hill Street. The stalls at the market sell local produce and stallholders seemed to be very passionate about their wares.

It was raining the day we visited Tamworth Growers Market but that did not seem to deter people from shopping at these stalls.  We purchased some yummy local products including:

• herb pots
• duck eggs - yum,
• homemade gluten free biscuits
• fruit
• croissants - apparently people come each week just to purchase these yummy locally made pastries
• olive oil - Manzanillo variety form Belwood Grove

This particular market day was a bit smaller than usual but I would recommend stopping by one Saturday morning for some fresh fruit and vegetables.
