Milang Lakeside Caravan Park

The first stop on our caravan adventure along the Murray River was Milang a small place on Lake Alexandrina - a large freshwater lake at the mouth of the Murray. The Milang Lakeside Caravan Park, a member of Kui Parks, is located directly across the road from the beautiful parkland on the foreshore of the lake. This caravan park has easy access with large grassed sites and plenty of shade trees with a large variety of bird life.

Some features of this large open park are:

• rainwater tank
• dogs allowed on leash
• range of cabins
• caravan and camping sites

Small shopping strip including a baker, takeaway shop and an old pub are within walking distance of the caravan park. The park appeared to be very popular and they had a section out the back for van storage (not sure how long you can leave the van). The beautiful parkland along the foreshore of the lake is very neat and tidy with a jetty, plenty of parking, public toilets and a children’s playground.
