Malanda Falls Rainforest Walk

The Rainforest and Tulip Oak Walks at Malanda Falls are something you should add to your 'to-do' list when visiting this beautiful area. As you can see from the photos there are so many things to see - even though it was raining during our walk it was still worthwhile. Call into the Malanda Falls Visitor Information Centre on the Malanda-Atherton road and collect a copy of the map explaining the walking tracks and details of the plants you will see.

These walks are well signposted, and we were told that sometimes you can catch a glimpse of the Lumholtx Tree Kangaroo that lives in the area. People have also spotted platypus at Malanda Falls but unfortunately we saw neither during our walk.
