Charleville Visitor Information Centre

The Charleville Cosmos and Visitor Information Centre is about three kilometres from the centre of Charleville along the Mitchell Highway - turn onto Qantas Drive. As usual this was our first stop after setting up the caravan - Charleville Visitor Information Centre is housed in a relatively new building surrounded by great gardens.  

The staff told us what was available, found out what we wanted to see and then set out an itinerary to ensure we were able to join every tour we were interested in. After looking at their list we highlighted what we wanted and the Visitor Information Centre made all the booking on our behalf. This was fabulous service and we were extremely grateful for all the advice. I have talked about the Cosmos Centre in another comment but would like to add here that it is a great experience and one I would highly recommend.

Charleville has a lot to offer tourists visiting the area so it is important to head to the Visitor Information Centre to find see what is on offer. They also have a great range of gifts and souvenirs - we purchased some great things for budding astronomers in the family.
