Bailey Bar Caravan Park - Charleville

Bailey Bar Caravan Park at Charleville in Queensland is a Top Tourist Park. We stayed here for several nights while visiting the area and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We arrived Tuesday and immediately booked a ticket for the 'Lamb on a Spit Dinner' – lamb, mashed potato and steamed vegetables – followed by apple pie with custard and billy tea. You bring along your own chair, table, plate, cutlery and whatever you would like to drink. It is a great way to meet other people staying in the Park. They offer camp oven meals on various nights during the week and also have Yabby races - for a bit of fun.

This is a very popular park and some spots are a little tight but the staff will walk alongside your vehicle to the allocated site and assist with reversing the van. They have done this many times and have no problem getting the van into the correct location.

Drive-through sites are available and the park offers free WiFi.  Beautifully clean amenities - 'blokes' on one side and 'sheilas' on the other plus a dump point. Bailey Bar Caravan Park provides a fully enclosed camp kitchen (to keep away the flies), plenty of shady trees and will even allow you to bring your pet.
