BIG4 Ayr Silver Link Caravan Village - Cabins

Ayr is a lovely looking town about 88 kilometres south of Townsville as you travel along the Bruce Highway in Qeensland. This is a big sugar cane and fruit growing area that attracts a range of seasonal workers. The BIG4 Silver Link Caravan Village, Ayr, has a range of accommodation for backpackers looking for work.  I understand they can even organise bus transport to and from farms in the area.  You cannot miss this BIG4 park with a silver link train above the entrance.

This is an older looking park and we found the cabins to be very clean and adequate for a short or long stay.  We received a lovely welcome at reception and they were happy for us to wander around taking photos. 

There are a range of cabin options 

• Ensuite Cabin - one bedroom villa with a bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed, further beds for up to three additional adults in the living area.
• Two Bedroom Villa with bathroom, main bedroom with queen bed, and the second bedroom has double bunk bed sleeping up to 4 people.  It is featured in photo No. 14 but a bit hard to see due to the size of the bed - I have never seen a double bed bunk before.
• Some of the two bedroom villas have Wheel Chair Access with a ramp running along the side of the cabin for easy access.
• One Bedroom Park Villa for 2 
• Deluxe Villa - Sleeps 4

BIG4 Silver Link Caravan Village Ayr has a range of facilities including camp kitchen, swimming pool, children's playground, Kiosk barbeques, dump point and a range of caravan and camping sites.
