Five Rivers Lookout - Wyndham

Five Rivers Lookout (The Bastion) is just outside Wyndham a small town in the top eastern part of Western Australia. From this lookout you can see where the Ord, King, Pentecost, Durack and Forrest Rivers run into the Cambridge Gulf. Great patterns are created on the mud flats by the tidal flows - we saw this more clearly when we took a flight over the area. From Five Rivers Lookout you can also see the Daharwi (or Bastion) Range which is a great backdrop to the views of the area.    

I would highly recommend that you make the effort to visit this lookout as the views can be spectacular on a clear day - the scenery is quite different during high and low tides.
