Cathedral Gorge is a short walk from the Piccaninny car park at the southern end of Purnululu (Bungle Bungles) National Park.
The walk takes you into a crevice that has been shaped by water slowly eroding away sandstone at the base of a large rock face - creating a magnificent cave. Water was still present at the bottom, and this is a very peaceful spot to sit and relax for a while after the walk into the Gorge. The colours in the rocks are quite amazing and I really enjoyed this iconic spot - as I keep saying - make sure you take a hat and plenty of water.
