Port Broughton is a small town on the Spencer Gulf in South Australia - about 150 kilometres south of Port Augusta. The BIG4Port Broughton Tourist Park is located on the bay - just off the Spencer Highway.
This is a beautiful park with plenty of palms trees and a short walk to a variety of local seafood outlets - a great spot for fishing or catching crabs in the shallow water at low tide. Port Broughton Tourist Park has some great facilities which include:
The caravan park has a small kiosk selling items such as milk, ice and the daily newspaper - the office is open from 8 am to 6 pm. There are a range of cabins from budget to luxury sunset villas overlooking the water. Powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites are available throughout the park and this appears to be a very popular holiday destination.
