1802 - Coffin Bay

1802 is an Oyster Bar and Bistro that had opened just prior to our visit to Coffin Bay. This restaurant was already proving to be popular with the locals and starting to become known to visitors in the area. It has a great outdoor eating space overlooking the Bay and the interior is decorated with warm timber and stone features. This is a very welcoming and cosy place to eat

We found the staff enthusiastic and friendly. Of course they serve the famous Coffin Bay Oysters and we tried these in three different ways - Kilpatrick, Rockefeller and blue cheese with parmesan. All the food was delicious and I would highly recommend that you try 1802 when you visit the area.

1802 Oyster Bar and Bistro is within easy walking distance of the Coffin Bay Caravan Park - you will find a copy of the menu at the park's reception.
