Mount Isa Lookout can be found in the centre of town - access via Hilary Street. It is well worth the effort to head up to the lookout and view the landscape. You will feel as though you are in the outback when you look at the signs showing distances to places around Australia and the world. Mount Isa is very spread out and the mine is surprisingly close to town.
