Warrego Riverside Tourist Park - Cunnamulla

We drove out to look at the Warrego Riverside Tourist Park about 3 kilometres from Cunnamulla, Queensland, along the Warrego River. This is a lovely park offering large drive-through sites with great access - they can cater for very large rigs. Gardens and grassed areas are located beside each caravan site with herbs planted throughout - you are invited to pick and enjoy the fresh herbs in your meal.

This park is located on the river which is very popular for fishing - Murray Cod, Golden Perch and Australian Bass can be caught for you to enjoy a fresh fish dinner. There is a great communal bush kitchen and barbeque area where you can enjoy the company of fellow travellers - maybe hear a few fishing tales. Bush camps are available on the banks of the river where you can light a fire and relax by the water.

Judy in the office was very enthusiastic about this park and was very happy for us to look around. The amenities are new and the owners seem to take pride in maintaining this beautiful looking park.  

We thought this looked like a great place to stay and cannot wait to go back to Cunnamulla in Queensland and enjoy the hospitality offered by Warrego Riverside Tourist Park.
