SA - NT Border Rest Area

You will not miss this rest stop at the border separating South Australia and the Northern Territory on the Stuart Highway - huge signs announce your movement from one area of Australia to the other.

This rest area is quite large with plenty of facilities including:

• shaded picnic tables
• bench seating
• rain water tanks
• information signs
• toilets
• overnight stops are permitted
• garbage bins
• sealed roads
• plenty of parking spaces

While enjoying our morning tea at this lovely rest area we could hear zebra finches in the nearby trees. These are beautiful little birds and we love to see them (or hear them) in the wild.
