Tuncurry is a lovely town just across the bridge from Forster on the beautiful mid-north coast of NSW. This is a very popular holiday destination with a huge lake system, lovely beaches, great fishing and a variety of accommodation for visitors - several caravan parks, apartments and holiday houses. The BIG4 Great Lakes Holiday Park sits on the foreshore of the lake - a beautiful park in a great location with its own boat ramp.
Tuncurry has a range of restaurants, cafes, bakers, shops and pubs within walking distance of most accommodation and it is only a short walk over the bridge to the main street of Forster. The Wallis Lake Fisherman's Co-op is on the Tuncurry side of the lake where fresh seafood is available to the public and a walking path leads form here to the Tuncurry Rock Pool and breakwall at the entrance to Wallis Lakes.
You will be absolutely amazed at the colour of the water on a clear day.
