Nundle is a village in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. It was formerly the centre of Nundle Shire local government area, but most of this area, including the village of Nundle, was absorbed into Tamworth Regional Council in 2004. The village is 400 km north of Sydney and about 56 km south east of Tamworth past Chaffey Dam via a good sealed road. At the 2006 census Nundle had a population of 289. Nundle is located at the southern end of Fossickers Way.© Wikipedia

Nundle is a small historic village along Fossickers Way in NSW - about 60 kilometres from Tamworth. The Nundle Visitor Information Centre is a great place to find out about things to see in the area - it houses the Gil Bennet Gem and Mineral Collection (quite interesting).
Behind the Visitor Information centre is the Fossickers Tourist Park - a lovely country setting with a stream running through the centre. Two other things in town that I recommend:
This is a gold mining town and there are plenty of places to explore in the surrounding countryside.
