Lucknow is a very small place between Orange and Bathurst in central NSW on the Mitchell Highway. There are several shops on the highway including the Skin Shop which has been in the same location for as long as I can remember.
You can see the remains of the gold mining operations in the area and there are a number of mining cottages still standing - a lovely place to stop.
