Smithy's Point can be found at Burrill Lake on the south coast of NSW - near Ulladulla. This seems to be a great fishing spot with a number of jettys over the clear waters of Burrill Inlet and Stony Creek. This point is located in the Lions Park and just a short walk from a large car parking area off Dolphin Point Road.
We stayed at the BIG4 Bungalow Park on Burrill Lake while staying in this beautiful area and were advised by the reception staff to take a walk to Smithy's Point for lovely views - especially during an incoming tide when the waters are magnificent colours. My early morning walk to the point did not disappoint, even though it was a bit cloudy. This area has great walking tracks, picnic tables, bench seats and plenty of shade.
